66.03 - Huoying

The Master Tung Acupuncture point 66.03, this point overlaps with Xingjian (LR 2), which is between the 1st and 2nd toes, proximal to the margin of the web at the junction of the red and white skin

PRIMARY:

  • Myocardial infarction (emergency point for syncope)

  • ​Chin pain, jaw pain, TMJ, teeth grinding from stress, difficulty opening the mouth

33.10, Chang Men, Intestine Gate, 33.11, Gan Men, Liver Gate.png

  • Palpitation, vertigo, dizziness, fright, coma, unconsciousness, tinnitus

  • Tumors of the uterus, uterine myomas, retained placenta, fibroids, inflammation of the uterus

  • Knee swelling

  • Eye pain

  • Dysuria

66.04 - Huozhu

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, 66.04, overlaps with Taichong (LR 3), which is on the dorsum of the foot in the depression distal to the juction of the 1st and 2nd metatarsal bones.

PRIMARY:

  • Cardiac disorders: myocardial infarction, heart disease leading to headache​

  • Liver or gastrointestinal diseases

  • Neurasthenia

  • Pain and numbness of the hands and feet

  • Gynecological disorders:  Inflammation or tumors of the uterus, fibroids and myomas, breech presentation, difficult labor, retained placenta, abnormal uterine bleeding, and lin zheng (dysuria syndrome)

SECONDARY:

  • ​Sore throat

  • Headache, supraorbital nerve pain, epilepsy, facial paralysis

  • Swollen bones

  • Extreme fatigue

  • Non-infectious urinary pain
