44.08 - Renzong

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 44.08 Renzong, this point overlaps with Shouwuli (LI 13), which is 3 cun proximal to the cubital crease, in the depression between the lateral border of the humerus and the m. biceps brachii. Some source indicate this point is 3 cun above the cubital crease on the LU channel

PRIMARY:

  • Arm pain, hand pain, elbow pain

  • Bloating

SECONDARY:

  • Foot pain, lower leg pain, medial knee pain

  • Common cold, asthma

  • Jaundice, gallbladder disorders

  • Edema, splenomegaly

44.09 - Dizong

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 44.09 Dizong, is 1 cum distal to Binao (LI 14) and 6 cun proximal to the cubital crease, in the depression between the lateral border of the humerus and the m. biceps brachii. 

Some books indicate this point is on the Lu channel.

PRIMARY:

Cardiovascular disorders:​

  • Any cardiopathy, including coronary heart disease, palpitations, arteriosclerosis, heart attack, angina, congestive heart failure

  • Cerebral vascular occlusion, embolism, cerebral thrombosis

Stiffness of the tongue, hemiplegia, facial paralysis​

44.10 - Tianzong

The Master Tung Acupuncture point, T 44.10 Tianzong, is on the LI channel, 9 cun proximal to the cubital crease, in the depression between the lateral border of the humerus and the m. biceps brachii, or 0.3 cun proximal to Dizong

(T 44.09). Some source indicate this point is on the LU channel.

PRIMARY:

  • Leukorrhea, vaginitis, genital itching, red or white vaginal discharge

SECONDARY:

  • Urogenital pain, vaginal pain, lower abdominal pain

  • Body odor, underarm odor

  • Leg pain (medial), calf distension, calf swelling, calf pain

  • Post-polio syndrome, infantile paralysis

  • Diabetes mellitus

  • Headache from cardiac insufficiency
